Adventure Cycling Association

Adventure Cycling Association is a member-supported nonprofit dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and connecting people to travel by bike. For 50 years it has researched, mapped, and maintained more than 50,000 miles of bicycle touring and bikepacking routes across North America, including the TransAmerica Trail and the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. The organization advocates at the state and federal level for the rights of bicycle travelers and for a safer, more connected network of routes, and leads guided bicycle tours built around the shared experience of traveling together. With more than 16,000 members, it also produces in-depth guides and resources to help people plan their own bicycle travel.
