A.I.R. Vallauris (Artists in Residence) is a non-profit association and artist residency programme in the old town of Vallauris, on the French Riviera. It welcomes artists from around the world to its lodgings and studios to meet local artists and to research and create new work. Since 2001 it has hosted over 500 international artists working in ceramics, sculpture, painting, photography, video and multimedia.
The association has three main aims: hosting international artists and supporting contemporary creation, education primarily in the ceramic arts, and organising cultural events. Residencies end with a group exhibition in the historic centre of Vallauris, and a permanent display of works made in residency is shown at the Galerie Aqui Siam Ben.
