Alchemy Artist Residency

Alchemy is an artist-led residency dedicated to site-inspired artmaking and community engagement, founded in 2015. The organization brings together artists and makers to connect, collaborate, and reflect in distinctive Canadian settings, including the Toronto Islands and rural Prince Edward County, Ontario. Guided by four pillars—food, art, garden, and table—Alchemy facilitates the creation, documentation, and sharing of art, meals, and conversation. Through residencies offering extended studio time, shared meals, and collective living experiences, artists deepen their practices, exchange ideas, and engage authentically with communities and landscapes that host them.
