The American Craft Council is a national nonprofit that has championed American craft and its makers for more than 80 years. It offers news, stories and resources to help makers build careers and collectors build collections, and it creates opportunities for the craft community to gather. Its work includes membership, educational programs for makers at all career stages, awards, and a craft directory. It also runs a craft happenings calendar and an opportunities board. It produces large-scale craft fairs such as American Craft Made Baltimore, along with talks and workshops, and publishes stories about American craft and the people who make it.
