A fully operational WWII Victory Ship and maritime museum honoring the American Merchant Fleet.
The American Victory Ship and Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 maritime museum based in Tampa, Florida, and one of only 3 fully operational Victory Class WWII ships still in existence. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it serves as a living memorial to the men and women of the American Merchant Fleet since 1775. Visitors can explore nine decks of the 455-foot vessel, including cargo holds, crew quarters, weaponry, and rare artifacts, uniforms, medals, and photographs. The museum is dedicated to honoring merchant marines and military personnel who served during times of peace and war.
