The Ann Arbor Art Center is an arts center that combines exhibitions, education and public art under one roof. Its galleries include the A2AC Gallery, the Spotlight Gallery and the Aquarium Gallery, along with opportunities for artists and an art placement service.
The center teaches classes and runs scholarships, art camps, ceramic studios, a metalsmithing and jewelry studio, figure drawing drop-ins and the ARTLab. It also commissions and presents public art, including alleys, murals, planters and sculptures, with an interactive map. Its spaces can be booked for art parties, events and team building, and it holds an annual gala.
