April Gloaming Publishing is a nonprofit independent press based in Nashville, Tennessee. It aims to capture and better understand the Southern soul, Southern writing and the Southern holler, amplifying what it calls the voices of the unbridled holler.
The press seeks gritty, chaotic and devastating voices, and works that redefine the literary landscape. It aims to paint a full picture of a new Southern identity that is inclusive and open to all backgrounds, ethnicities and identities. Its site lists a catalogue, submissions, awards and book merchandise.
