Argo Studios

Argo Studios is a multidisciplinary artist and writer's residency based in Athens, Greece, located in the activist neighborhood of Exarcheia. The residency provides dedicated workspace and accommodation in a pair of neoclassical apartments, offering both private and shared studio options. Argo residencies emphasize process over product, welcoming artists, writers, performers, musicians, scholars, and creatives from any discipline at any career stage. Residents benefit from connections with local Athenian artists, curators, and craftspeople, as well as guided excursions and a warm community environment. The organization also operates the Argo Annex, a project space at 49 Kallidromiou that hosts exhibitions and artistic projects.
