Arkana is the graduate-run online literary journal of the University of Central Arkansas, launched with its inaugural issue in November 2016. It is staffed and edited by students in the Arkansas Writers' MFA Program and accepts submissions from artists worldwide. Its mission is to foster a sense of shared wonder by publishing inclusive art that asks questions, explores mystery, and makes visible the marginalized, the overlooked, and those whose voices have been silenced. The magazine publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, translation, scripts, hybrid and illustrated narrative work, along with author interviews.
