ARTEMISTA

ARTEMISTA is a non-profit cultural association founded in 2004 by artists working across music, theatre, photography, and visual arts. Based in Spessa, in Italy's Lombardy region, the association operates from Cascina Castello, a farmhouse dating to the 15th century that has been transformed into a cultural centre for artistic productions and events. Its work spans theatre, music, social projects, and environmental awareness education, rooted in the rural communities of the Po Valley and the Oltrepò wine-growing hills. Through its residency programme, ARTEMISTA hosts individuals and groups pursuing research-based, production-based, and interdisciplinary creative projects.
