ARThentic Arts, Inc. is a community-driven arts organization founded by artists for artists. It works to remove barriers that keep creatives from professional development, mentorship, opportunities and career-building resources.
Its programs prioritize artists who have been excluded from traditional arts systems, including Black artists, LGBTQ+ creatives and artists from under-resourced communities, while welcoming artists of all backgrounds. Its work centers on creatives, community and collaboration, partnering with organizations and community leaders to strengthen the creative economy.
Past initiatives include a paid artist residency, free artist headshots, a showcase and vendor market for BIPOC creatives, and a community partnership for the Spirit & Place Festival. Current programs include mentorship, professional development and the ARTs Creative Care Fund.
