Arts Huntsville

Arts Huntsville is a 501(c)(3) non-profit local arts agency that advances the arts, entertainment and culture across the Huntsville and Madison County region of Alabama. It stimulates and supports community creativity and engagement to enrich quality of life, education and economic development throughout the greater Huntsville metropolitan area. The organization supports the region's arts organizations, from the Huntsville Museum of Art and Huntsville Symphony Orchestra to smaller groups like Huntsville Master Chorale and Opera Huntsville, through programs spanning arts promotion, arts education, public art and community events. Originally founded as The Arts Council in 1962 as a membership-based local arts agency, it ended its membership fees in 2018 to better serve artists and arts organizations directly.
