Ashton Gallery is a contemporary art gallery inside Art on 30th, an 8000 square foot art center in the Arts & Culture District of North Park, San Diego. It was started by artist, teacher and mentor Kate Ashton, and it represents artists in its Professional Artist Program. Every piece is original, signed by the artist and sold with a certificate of authenticity, and buyers can try a work at home through a 5-day in-home art loan.
The gallery hosts regional group shows, solo shows, a national juried show with a published catalog and cash prizes, and a graduation show each year, all through open calls for art. It also offers art rentals for homes and businesses, artist commissions and custom framing through a local partner. Its mission is "Where Artists Come to Grow".
