Asociación Jupiterfab

Asociación Jupiterfab is a not-for-profit organization founded in November 2014 to support art projects and artists whose work addresses social impact. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, it runs a small, independent artist residency in the Colonia Americana neighborhood that can host up to four artists at a time. Priority is given to artists engaging with social topics such as gentrification, immigration, equality, social justice, poverty, and gender rights, though this is not a binding criterion. The organization supports resident artists mainly with logistics and by promoting their culminating exhibitions and events, and it has been building partnerships with local art organizations to host events in their spaces as well. Residencies typically run from one month up to six months.
