Associated Artists of Winston Salem

Associated Artists of Winston-Salem (AAWS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving visual artists a place to exhibit and sell their work. It is open to emerging and professional artists as well as art appreciators, and its members present more than ten juried exhibits each year across the organization's own exhibit spaces. Beyond its galleries, AAWS runs a Community Exhibits Program that places member artwork in local businesses and restaurants around Winston-Salem, and it offers events, workshops, and a knowledgebase covering topics like framing, exhibiting, and the business of art. The organization also administers the Bill Edwards Artist Development Fund to support artists.
