Atelier Mondial

Atelier Mondial is the oldest multidisciplinary exchange program in Switzerland, founded in 1986 by the Christoph Merian Stiftung under the name iaab. It supports artists from the Basel region with stays abroad and hosts international artists in its live-in studios on the Dreispitz site in Basel. Today the program is trinational and focuses on connecting artist communities in the tri-region and with partner venues around the world. It is supported by the Christoph Merian Stiftung, the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and Solothurn, and the regions of South Baden and Alsace. Alongside the residencies it presents exhibitions of the artists who take part.
