Aurora PhotoCenter

About

Aurora PhotoCenter is an Indianapolis nonprofit that supports visual artists working in photography. It offers exhibitions, artist residencies, workshops, artist talks, and access to creative tools. It describes itself as the only nonprofit of its type in Indiana hosting continuous photography programming throughout the year. Its members and visitors can use the only rentable analog darkroom and digital imaging lab in Indianapolis. Workshops cover alternative and historic processes, black-and-white and color film developing, printing, and scanning. The center also runs the Local Lens speaker series featuring Indiana photographers, a fellowship, and volunteer opportunities.
