The Averitt Center for the Arts is a Statesboro arts center that gathers people to connect, collaborate and experience visual and performing arts. It offers classes and workshops for kids, teens and adults in visual arts, dance, music and theatre, along with camps and seasonal pop-ups. Its Emma Kelly Theater, a restored 1936 movie house in downtown Statesboro, hosts concerts, plays and lectures, and its Rosengart Fine Art Gallery presents rotating exhibitions. The center also rents its theater, gallery and studios for performances, meetings and receptions.
