Barton Creek Cabin is a family-run retreat property offering self-guided, one-week to one-month stays for artists, writers, poets and others seeking quiet and privacy. Set on 21 acres along the headwaters of Barton Creek in the Texas Hill Country near Dripping Springs, just west of Austin, the property was previously home to Sports Country, a summer camp founded in 1971 by the Stark family. The retreat provides a private cabin with a workspace, along with access to a pool, tennis and basketball courts, and walking trails, to support guests' creative work.
