bEam arts is an independent, artist-led residency and arts organization based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It supports practitioners across the visual arts, design, film, literature and curation through international and writers residencies, exhibitions, research initiatives and community programs.
Residents receive well-equipped studios, mentorship and the chance to show their work in a group exhibition. The organization also runs a gallery with a viewing room and an artist funding directory.
Its stated aim is to encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration, dialogue and experimentation among emerging and established creatives. It also seeks to build an inclusive, international community of artists, known as bEamers, who draw on Thessaloniki's history and contemporary culture.
