Volunteer non-profit supporting the Lowe Art Museum and arts education in South Florida.
Beaux Arts Miami is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization founded in 1952 to encourage understanding and appreciation of the arts in South Florida while supporting the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami. The organization is entirely run by women and includes over 90 Active Members and 400+ Associate Members who are community leaders in South Miami. These volunteers lead outreach efforts focused on art education, appreciation and access, running signature programs such as HandsOn!, the Beaux Arts Student Artist Showcase, the Beaux Arts Festival of Art, Children's Art Camp at the Lowe, and the Beaux Arts Ball. Since its founding, Beaux Arts has raised over $8 million for the Lowe Art Museum, and its funding has made museum admission free for all since 2021.
