The Bienal de La Habana is Cuba's international biennial of contemporary art, founded in 1984 as an alternative platform for contemporary visual arts from the Global South. From 1989 it became a curated project with a strong conceptual focus on research. It is organised with the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam, the National Council of Plastic Arts and Cuba's Ministry of Culture. The fifteenth edition was announced for November 2024 to February 2025.
