The Big Four Arts Festival is an annual two-day juried arts festival held on the weekend after Labor Day on the Big Four Bridge Lawn at Waterfront Park in Louisville, Kentucky. It features over 150 juried fine artists, craftspeople, jewelers and artisans working in more than 20 categories, from painting and photography to sculpture, glass and ceramics. The festival also offers live music on a riverfront stage, hands-on art activities for all ages, food trucks, and a separate area for non-art vendors. An Emerging Artist Program, funded by sponsors, covers part of the entry and booth costs for artists showing for the first time. Artists are selected through the ZAPP application system by an independent panel of three jurors, and juried awards are given each year. The event is presented by B4B Promotions, Inc. with support from DesignWeb Louisville, and draws patrons from Louisville and Southern Indiana.
