Ashland University literary journal publishing poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction and visual art.
The Black Fork Review is a literary journal launched in 2019. It is run by students and alumni of Ashland University and supported by Ashland Poetry Press. The journal publishes poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction and cover art in regular issues. It looks for fresh, unexpected and fearless work that makes readers pause, challenges them, and both interrogates and honors humanity. It takes its name from the Black Fork River, a local landmark in Ashland, Ohio, and is drawn to work with a sense of place.
