BRAZZA is a self-run residency in a small town on the river Charente, in the south-west of France. It welcomes artists, writers, photographers, performers and researchers for stays of two weeks to a month, and exceptionally one week. Residents live in an apartment with its own street entrance, next to the hosts' house, and share a garden and two dinners a week with the hosts and other residents. Beyond the residency, the organization offers film photography workshops, both individual and in groups, with a darkroom. It also publishes calls for residents and writers, and keeps an artist's studio on site.
