Bumbershoot Arts and Music Festival

Bumbershoot is a full-spectrum arts and music festival celebrating the creators, innovators and performers of the Pacific Northwest, from punk and performance art to ballet, wrestling and food. First produced at Seattle Center in 1971, it is Washington's legacy arts and music festival, made for community by community. The festival amplifies the regional creative community, cultivates professional opportunities for artists, welcomes large and diverse crowds, and trains the next generation of event producers. It works to keep its programming, physical footprint and subsidized ticket prices as accessible as possible. Today it is produced by New Rising Sun, a team of concert promoters and visual arts producers.
