The Canadian Institute of Floral Design is an independent, professional floral design college in Toronto that has offered career-oriented training since 1988. It is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005, and its diploma is widely recognized within the North American floral industry. Its intensive three-week Professional Floral Design Program gives hands-on instruction in design techniques, the handling and care of flowers, the wholesale flower trade and the fundamentals of running a floral business.
