Capture Photography Festival is a Vancouver-based annual festival of lens-based art. Its vision is to connect Vancouver to the world through photography and related work, and to act as a platform that expands visual literacy. It gives voice to traditionally underrepresented communities.
The festival presents public installations, exhibitions, events and youth programs, mostly during April. It also runs a speaker series, a curatorial fellowship and a juried Selected Exhibitions program, which accepts applications from artists through an open call. Members can save and share a personal itinerary of festival programming.
