Carrollwood Cultural Center

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a community arts center whose mission is to create culture through community and create community through culture. It offers enrichment classes in art, ceramics, dance, creative writing, acting and theatre, along with summer camps for children and teens. The center presents theatre productions and events on its stage, and its galleries host rotating exhibits, a permanent collection and calls for artists. It also hosts community clubs and groups such as a chorus, bands and a bridge club, and rents its rooms for private events. Members and donors support the center, which grew out of a community effort to shape the culture of its own place.
