Charlotte Street Foundation is a Kansas City organization that has supported contemporary artists since 1997. It gives awards to visual and performing artists and offers Cultural Producer Grants, studio and startup residencies, and the Creative Confluence Fund.
It also runs the Charlotte Street Gallery, which presents exhibitions, and keeps an artist registry and a list of opportunities for local artists. Through programs such as the Crossroads Artboards, it commissions Kansas City-area artists to show work in public space. It is funded by donors, foundations and public arts agencies, and invites volunteers to take part in its events.
