City of East Lansing

The City of East Lansing is the municipal government for the city, run by an elected City Council and a City Manager. Its work covers public services such as the public library, the police and public works departments, water and sewer, recycling and parking. The city also runs advisory commissions, including the Arts Commission, which take applications from residents to serve on boards that guide city decisions. Its website shares city news, meeting and event calendars, and notices about services.
