Municipal government of Lone Tree, Colorado, running public art commissions via its Arts Commission.
The Lone Tree Arts Center is a municipally-owned performing arts venue built in 2011 after Lone Tree residents approved a bond to fund it. It operates in a hybrid model, producing award-winning theatrical events and presenting nationally recognized touring artists. The Center places a strong emphasis on accessibility, offering sensory-inclusive performances, relaxed-environment classes, and programs for people experiencing memory loss and their caregivers, alongside school outreach through artist residencies and student matinees. Its programming is supported by the Lone Tree Arts Commission, formally incorporated by the Lone Tree City Council in 1999 to advise on arts funding and public art.
