An international residency and working farm nurturing interdisciplinary creative practice in the Adirondacks.
Craigardan is an arts and working-farm organization set on 320 acres of fields and forests in the Adirondack State Park of New York. It nurtures interdisciplinary creative practice through an international residency program, community education, and the farming and stewarding of its land. The residency welcomes ceramic, literary, visual, and performance artists, as well as farmers, chefs, activists, scholars, and researchers from the Adirondack region and around the world. Community courses and events foster interaction between visiting artists and the local public, building a shared sense of place through food, culture, and the exchange of ideas.
