Boulder's largest multidisciplinary arts hub, presenting theater, film, dance, music and visual art.
The Dairy Arts Center is Boulder, Colorado's largest multidisciplinary arts hub, founded in 1992 in a former milk-processing facility to provide cooperative workspaces and venues for live performance. The building houses professional theaters, contemporary art galleries, rehearsal and dance studios, teaching spaces, and a 69-seat art-house cinema. It supports work in theater, film, dance, music, and visual art, presenting hundreds of live events and screening more than 700 films each year. As a nonprofit, the Dairy serves as a primary venue and creative home for more than 100 nonprofit arts organizations in the region. Its mission is to provide diverse opportunities to create, learn, and engage in high quality performing, cinematic, and visual arts experiences.
