Defiance Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Paddington, Sydney, established in 1995 by Founding Director Campbell Robertson-Swann. It is recognised as a leading advocate for sculpture and represents artists working across sculpture, painting and expanded contemporary practice. The gallery also stewards the estates of significant Australian figures, including Roy Jackson and Peter Powditch.
Its exhibition program combines solo presentations, curated projects and major exhibitions. Signature initiatives include the Defiance Award for painters and the biennial Size Is Not Everything, one of Australia's longest-running exhibitions dedicated to small-scale sculpture.
