Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Foundation

The Dorothy Antoinette LaSelle Foundation preserves and promotes the legacy and artistic work of American modernist Dorothy Antoinette "Toni" LaSelle (1901–2002). LaSelle taught art and design at what is now Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, from 1928 to 1972, while developing her own language of modernist abstraction. She studied with László Moholy-Nagy at the New Bauhaus School in Chicago and spent summers at Hans Hofmann's School of Art in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The foundation maintains an online gallery of her work, informed by nature and the landscape of the sea.
