Downtown El Cajon Association

The Downtown El Cajon Association is the business improvement association behind Downtown El Cajon, known as the heart of East County. It supports the revitalization, beautification, and promotion of the downtown district, working alongside the Downtown El Cajon Community Benefit Improvement District (CBID). The Association provides daily maintenance services, including power washing, graffiti removal, and large-item pickup, to keep the neighborhood clean and well-maintained. It also organizes community events throughout the year, such as the Alley Cat Art Fest, Small Business Season, and Holiday Lights in Downtown El Cajon, drawing visitors to local shops, restaurants, and venues.
