Edgewater Gallery is an artist-owned collective in historic downtown Fort Bragg, California. It opened in 2003 and has been part of the Mendocino Coast art community for over two decades. The gallery shows the work of its member artists, mixing fine art and craft. This includes oil and acrylic paintings, ceramics, sculpture, fine woodwork, photography, mixed media, decorative kites and handcrafted cards. Members run the gallery together. They work shifts in the gallery each month, attend a monthly meeting, and pay monthly dues plus a commission on sales. Members do not have to live on the Mendocino coast, but they must be able to travel to Fort Bragg each month to meet their work obligations.
