Eutopia Art Residency is a non-profit organisation (AMKE) founded in 2007 in Xanthi, Greece. It runs international artist residencies for small groups of up to 12 artists, and more than 293 artists from over 40 countries have taken part.
Its 2027 programs are held in Kavala by the sea, in the 16th-century Poretsou Monastery in the Peloponnese, and in Meteora, where it hosts an international ceramics symposium. The residencies put time, place and community ahead of output, with no pressure to produce, and welcome artists, writers, photographers, architects, ceramicists, curators and filmmakers. Fees cover accommodation, shared workspaces, curator support, cultural excursions and a final exhibition or event, and applying is free.
