The Fine Arts League of Cary (FALC) is a member-led nonprofit that promotes the artistic growth of area artists and increases public awareness of visual art. For over 20 years it has served art lovers, patrons, and emerging and established artists across the Triangle region of North Carolina. It hosts annual juried exhibitions and gives members chances to show their work in galleries, community centers and other public venues. It also offers workshops and classes, art critiques and roundtables, and monthly meetings with guest speakers and artist demonstrations. FALC runs a gallery in Cary and special programs such as the Wake County Teen Exhibition, along with discounted memberships for seniors. It also produces the annual Art Swarm event in downtown Cary.
