FLARE: The Flagler Review is an award-winning literary journal published by undergraduate students in collaboration with the Flagler College English Department. It was established in 1989 and takes its current name from a 2012 redevelopment. The journal publishes poetry, fiction, flash fiction, creative nonfiction and art from emerging and established contributors around the world. Production is run as a credit-bearing workshop in which students solicit and evaluate work and handle editing, design, marketing and promotion. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, it releases a new issue each spring and has been recognized in the Superior category of the NCTE's REALM contest.
