FNB Art Joburg is associated with the annual FNB Art Prize, which recognizes contemporary artists from across the region. The 2026 prize was awarded to Kelebogile Marope, the first artist from Botswana to receive the award. The prize highlights practices in sculpture, drawing and mixed media, and points to the growing international recognition of contemporary art from southern Africa.
