FotoFilmic

FotoFilmic is an organization based on Bowen Island, British Columbia, dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career photographic artists internationally. It does this through advanced mentorship programs, traveling exhibitions and printed publications. The organization was founded in 2012 and has called Bowen Island home since 2015. Its mentoring programs are hosted at the FotoFilmic space in Artisan Square, a 1600+ sq ft venue set up for hands-on artistic activities and lab-type experimentation, which also acts as an art gallery. The island's natural setting and small coastal-town feel offer an immersive and nurturing retreat experience for participating artists.
