Friends of the Guelph Public Library is a volunteer-supported group that backs the Guelph Public Library. It runs a book sale, supported by donations and volunteers, and publishes a Book Sale FAQ, floor plan and price list for it. The site also lists programs and events, a way to become a Friend, and an e-newsletter.
The Friends have sponsored a public art commission for the Children's Area of the library's new Central Library, celebrating community support for the Library.
