A memorial gallery in Jacksonville commemorating Holocaust victims through art, exhibitions, and education.
The Frisch Family Holocaust Memorial Gallery is the first memorial space of its kind between Atlanta and Central Florida, dedicated to commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. It features a two-panel granite installation designed by Holocaust survivor Morris Bendit, including an etched mural depicting the geographic and human scope of the genocide. The gallery hosts changing exhibitions, public programs, and educational tours exploring themes of human rights, individual courage, and the search for peace. It is open to the public Monday through Friday and offers scheduled tours for student groups.
