Gallery Gachet

Gallery Gachet is a gallery at 9 W Hastings Street in Vancouver that presents exhibitions and community programming. It hosts the annual Oppenheimer Park Community Art Show, now in its 19th year, which features work by dozens of community artists. Beyond exhibitions, the gallery runs Tuesday drop-in art sessions where a facilitator supports participants and provides materials such as watercolor paint, paper, brushes and coloured pencils. It also offers the Gachet Writers Group, a weekly space for collective reflection, experimentation and care through writing that welcomes writers of every experience level.
