Greater Columbus Arts Council

The Greater Columbus Arts Council is Central Ohio's champion of the arts, fighting for artistic expression since 1973. It supports the local arts community primarily through grantmaking, providing funding to individual artists and arts organizations across the region. In 2025 alone, the Council distributed over $18 million in total grants, supported 1,317 artists, and funded 133 organization grants. Through this investment, GCAC helps sustain arts education, public art projects, and creative opportunities for artists of all disciplines throughout Greater Columbus.
