GVSU Art Museum

GVSU Art Museum cares for a collection of more than 28,000 artworks, with over 12,000 on public display across the campuses of Grand Valley State University. The museum curates exhibitions and public spaces, presents events and activities, and helps integrate visual literacy into the curriculum. Its work centers on visual art that sparks conversation about social justice, human rights and empathy, in line with the university's liberal education philosophy. Every artwork in the collection is digitized and can be accessed online, and the museum handles artwork service requests such as moving pieces or replacing missing labels on campus.
