The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences is a multidisciplinary artist residency and creative sanctuary set on 600 forested acres in the North Georgia Mountains. Recognized as the oldest residency program in the Southeast, it hosts visual artists, writers, musicians, culinary artisans, scientists, and other creatives from across the U.S. and internationally, offering private accommodations, studio space, and communal meals. Beyond its residency, the Center runs public workshops, community events, environmental initiatives, and a fellows program that highlights alumni achievements. Its mission centers on giving individuals uninterrupted time and space to cultivate their creative and intellectual work.
