Heartland Film

Heartland Film is a nonprofit arts organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a mission to curate, promote and celebrate thoughtful and engaging films. Founded in 1991, the organization runs the Heartland Film Festival every October, the Academy Award-Qualifying Indy Shorts Film Festival in July, and other year-round programs like Cinemania. The films it selects and exhibits share a common thread: they do more than entertain.
